Barone made an appearance in the fourth season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham a chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was one of the cast members of Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone Also, she played Ross Geller's ex-wife in the show's debut appearance as Friends. Jane Sibbett replaced her after she left to take on full-time work. She appeared on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the first season (from 1995 to 1996) as well as on The War at Home between 2005 and the year 2007. Barone also appeared in Daddio the sitcom which premiered in 2000. She played Officer Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones as the ex-husband of the character Barone played during two shows.
